Thankful Thursday: The Crumby Cookie Dough Co.

Somedays you just have to sit back and be thankful for all the amazing people around you. We've decided to make Thursday's one of those days with #ThankfulThursday. Today we're expressing gratitude for one of our longstanding partners and small-biz neighbours: The Crumby Cookie Dough Co.

 

We’ve been partnering with Crumby since early 2018 when we learned of them as a business and recognized them as Cookie Dough Connoisseurs. They are a small business who are experts at what they do and have the same values as Four All when it comes to responsible sourcing, natural ingredients, and product uniqueness and quality.

 

Currently, they make for us custom cookie dough using our Gluten-Free Flour blend so that we can make a Gingerbread Cookie Dough flavour that more people can enjoy! Our flour blend is our secret, however, we can tell you it's a blend of rice flours, starches, and xanthan gum.

 

Crumby is opening up a production and retail space in Uptown Waterloo, set to open in early 2020. You can follow their progress on their Instagram: @thecrumbycookiedoughco and their Website. Both Crumby & Four All are hoping to make Uptown sweeter in the New Year.

 

Fun Fact: When they develop new flavours one of the things they verify is that the dough is bakeable and actually makes delicious cookies. Their dough is also super safe to eat since they use heat-treated flour AND pasteurized eggs.
